Hello again Insiders!

With many guides created over 6 years of Insider's history, it is possible to mix up old information with the new. I've decided to create this new thread highlighting key information you need for life here on Insider. I give a shoutout to @kajira, whose old Guidelines and Tips thread has been a big inspiration for mine.

There are many embedded links in this thread, which are all written in non-bold green text.

If you wish to see anything added to this thread or if you think I have missed something, feel free to shoot me a message or post a reply 😉.

Important Information:

First and foremost, we have a set of House Rules we would like all users to read and follow. Those outline our basic rules, which if broken, could lead to warnings, and after many warnings, could lead to bans.

We also have a list of Posting Guidelines, which we also encourage all users to read in order to keep Insider organized.

We also have several Razer Support Staff here on Insider that can provide support on our official Support forum. We ask that all users seeking official support post on our support forum, since the support staff prioritize posts made there, first.

On top of those support staff, we have many community volunteers, which we call Vanguards, which moderate our forum and can provide help with any questions or issues you may have. They are:

guys i am new here i do not know if i am able to make a question in this guide but i just bought a razer kraken x and i was about to redeem the code for the 7.1 surround but because i scratched too much the code i could not see 3 letters do you know any other ways to get the 7.1 surround or can i get a copy of my code in the store in which i bought the headset what i want to say is do you guys know any ways to redeem my code e.g telling the code of my product so razer tell me my code or the idea that i said before with the store??? sorry for my english i can not speak so calmly right now and i do not have the time to correct my "question".Thank you for your responses

Hey all. So i just bought the kraken rz04. Cant get the 7.1 to work.
Downloaded synapse, told me there is a newer version. So i downloaded the new app. It keeps telling me to connect a razer controller. Connected my controller via usb and nothing.
This is frustrating me and im about to return these darn things.
Any input is appreciated.

Using windows sonic for the time being.

i have problems with my keyboard after ive been away for like a weak from home...
i disconnected everything before leaving home.. like all the power..

when i came home... it all worked except for the lights on the keyboard.. its a black widow chroma v2
I need help I can't link Google authorities to my account in Razer account
