Oof, don't tell the wife.
It wasn't because I was trying to be a dick. For most, if not all of the game, I had been very diplomatic in my interactions with the world and the factions within them. The only time I played favorites was with my crew. But by the time I got to this specific part of the game, I was angry at the character in front of me and all that this person stood for. So, I chose the sarcastic response and I ended up putting two bullets into this person's head. And then the game was over.
I freakin' loved The Outer Worlds. As I write this, I'm listening to the soundtrack. I'm even contemplating another play through. It's relatively short for an RPG of this caliber, but that makes it more inviting for another run, with different character options and different choices. The second time around knowing what I need and don't need will undoubtedly speed up the play time because I spend a lot of time looking at my stuff. And when it comes to in-game inventory, I'm pretty much a hoarder.
It never fails. I will slog through the slow hell that is being overburdened just to make that extra cash. No vendor trash is too cheap. Loot everything and sell everything. Except the things I'm unsure I'll need - which contribute to the majority of my inventory space, always wondering if I'll need it later or not and forever making my steps stupid slow.
My inventory management should be simple: sell or don't sell. Need or don't need. The problem is, I'm unsure what I should sell and what I truly need. I find that this somewhat reflects my habits IRL, although I'm no where near a hoarder, there are definitely things I can and should get rid of.
What about you my fellow Insiders? What are your in-game inventory habits? Would you say it's a reflection of your out-of-game life as well?
It's too bad there's no IRL vendor that we can dump all our trash arbitrarily to make some coin. I'd be rich.
