Video appears blurry when connected to TV with Razer Blade 15

I have a Razer Blade 15 (early 2020) Geforce RTX 2070, I want to use my Samsung UltraHD TV as a second monitor. I manage to connect this with an HDMI cable, which works successfully. However, when I display videos on the TV, the video looks rather degraded and blurry. I check in the NVIDIA control panel and it is set to 'High-performance', so I can't understand why it's not displaying videos at the correct level of quality as I see it on the laptop. I have tried connecting other PCs in the past to the TV and the videos are displayed perfectly fine. It's definitely something with this Razer laptop that isn't displaying videos clearly on the TV. Any advice would be appreciated.
