I have a Kraken (2019) headset, and recently the earcups went bad, so I was planning on buying a new headset. I tried the HyperX Cloud III, the Kraken X Lite, and the Blackshark V3 Hyperspeed, and all of them had the same problem: the sound leaks from the headset into the room. My girlfriend usually reads in the same room while I’m gaming and the sound is annoying her.
My previous headset didn’t have this issue, but the other three leak too much noise (worst when playing FPS games). I tried searching and looking at reviews, but no one ever talks about this issue.
I’m now planning on testing the Kraken V4 and wanted to know if anyone has this headset and how the sound leakage is, or if there are any other recommendations.
