I remember seeing a keyboard years ago, Optimus (?), anyway the keys were all LCD screens (similar to the switchblade keys probably)
I wonder how realistic it would be for Razer to do a keyboard (and maybe mechanical version??) with all LCD keys... and Chroma obviously...

Many years ago!! I remember this thing, wasn't it eventually classified as vaporware?

probably, I think the thing was ahead of its time and super expensive, I was just wondering (with the switchblade keys) if tech/supply had caught up enough for Razer to do this at a more effective price point.

I want to change my font and use pictures for my keys etc etc lol

imagine all sorts of fonts with chroma scripts managing the background colors. And extra keys set up for my spells in games and I can use the icons of those spells as the key's display.

Well it was actually released back in 2007....Here is the newest one they sell (instead of each key being its own OLED screen, there is just one large one under it. $1500..... http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/popularis/

I am sure Razer can do something similar here, for cheaper.

One screen under isn't bad, I think, as long as you still get the click feedback of pressing a key. On the blade pro there is that trackpad LCD screen that doubles as the num pad, but I can never use it because there is no ridges/push-button feedback.

come on Razer, this is needed
USB 7.1 sound. Preferably with chroma speakers.

My old 5.1 system needed 3 minjacks, which my alienware had, but modern gaming laptops don't.

How about tiny chroma widgets as standalone devices? Bluetooth enabled. I'm envisioning something sold in 6 packs, the size of a stick of gum. (And wondering if anyone has reverse engineered a way to command lights on arduino with synapse)

it would be nice to have a good set of desktop speakers with chroma 🙂

Definetly monitors, razer has mostly everything but them. Also, some gaming chairs? 😜

I'd also like to see more chroma based cases as well as a razer chroma laptop cooling pad or something like that.

I'd also like to see more syncing options for chroma peripherals. Like setting a position on the desk in synaps and having color move from left to right over multiple devices. So like the wave effect would move across my desk instead of on the individual products.

I'd love a Left-Hander Edition of the Razer Deathadder Chroma. Still missing a Chroma mouse to go with my Blackwidow Chroma TE and Firefly! 🙂

me too bro
I know that people have posted this before, but it is so obvious that I cannot help myself putting it up here again.

Please release the Razer Deathadder with the Pixart 3360 (3366, I realize that all the other brands have to use this particular designation), no acceleration as others have stated before. Also, again, please don't worry about trying to push its limits and get the DPI number up in the 12K region because it is so unnecessary, I am gaming on my personal holy grail 2k monitors on my main rig and I know that I use a slightly higher DPI than many of my friends that are playing at 1080P but I am still not even CLOSE to the 3200 DPI point, as a matter of fact I'm well, well below even half of that. The only reason I even mention this is because I am hoping that Razer not having to fiddle with the sensor very much to try and push it to get a higher DPI rating will mean it gets to us quicker.

Don't worry about having a ton of gimmicks or anything like that either, as you obviously very well know the Deathadder does not need any of that (I say obviously because Razer has done such a great job at keeping it simple as it is over the years). Just a great performing, uber accurate, super low latency, cant get any better than this mouse. It will be a no brainer for most people. The only competition out there is going to be coming from the likes Corsair's one mouse that they outfit with it that has been around forever, and I am sure there are tons of people that love that shape and that simple mouse, but the shape is just not for me. The Scream 1 from Finalmouse, which seems like it is never actually going to hit the market since they can't seem to hold themselves to any of their release dates. The Steel Series Rival 700 that seems to be having the same problems with getting everything done and ready for ship, and has so many gimmicks that, admittedly won't completely turn me away, but would easily be enough to cost them my money if I had to pick between it and a Razer Deathadder with my favorite sensor. The just to heavy and not the right shape for me Logitech 502, the way too small and still not perfect shape for me Logitech 303, and the final older Logitech mouse with it (300s?) just does not fit my fancy either. Although I am super tempted by the G900 Chaos Spectrum, I just don't really want to spend twice as much as a Deathadder for it.

You guys would have this market yet so easy in this case, if you are able to get your product to market sooner than later. Obviously it will still do really well even if it takes a while, but if it comes out before Zowie and Mionix are able to get their versions out, you will snap up all that business before they even have a chance at it. But if it comes after or even around the same time, you are going to lose a lot of that business. Heck I love the way a lot of the Zowie mouse feel and perform and Mionix is probably my second favorite mouse maker, but none of them can beat the Deathadder for me. It is simply the mouse for me, and I want Razer to kick so much butt in the market that they are able to keep making amazing products (you guys already have my attention in the laptop market and have done SO GOOD there).

The only things I would like different from some of the other people would be a few things.

1) I would love if you were able to give it a more solid feel overall. I realize that means that it would be more difficult to keep the weight down, but even if it added a 5-10 grams, if it gave it the solid feel that you feel when you first try out a Mionix mouse or a Zowie, I think you would literally shut these companies down.
2) I would LOVE LOVE LOVE, if you guys were able to make some different left and right click switch options. I am surprised that this is not a thing yet, but I would love to try out a Deathadder with some Huano (im sure I probably made a spelling error there) switches just to see how that struck me, I think it would also be extremely popular and depending on how much that would effect the production I think could be boon for the company. (I know I would end up owning TWO of the new Deathadder with a 3360 if this were an option.) So you are going to end up selling a couple of mice to hardware whores like myself who love try and seeing these different devices. Of course you should still make the "normal" version with switches that are the same as the most recent version...they feel so perfect in LoL, coming from a person that has to right click A LOT, its easily the best feeling right click out there to me. So I don't want to lose that, but I would at least love to find out how I felt about a Deathadder with Huano's.
3) Make a regular, non special edition, version of the mouse that has a similar color way to the CLG version. Black with some white built into the body. It looks so fantastic, throw that Razer Chroma lighting on the Logo on the back and scroll wheel, or hell just put the logo in white and sell it. I would probably end up owning three of them at this point...the regular black chroma version, the huano version, and then this version.

So that's about it, I know this is crazy, I know it is long. I know no one will probably ever read it all, and I know it probably won't ever happen. (The way I have described of course, I completely believe that there will be a Deathadder with the 3360 at some point). But I had to put this all out into the ether. I have played with and used SO many different mice and keyboards. I love the products (the new Blackwidow X Chroma, BW X TE, and BW X Ultimate edition with Cherry MX Blues are all COMPLETE HOMERUNS btw, thank my lucky stars every time I get to type on these keyboards because they look and feel amazing and I waited so long for them) that you guys are producing right now. I wish I could help design them because I love all of these products and peripherals in general, but I will simply have to settle for begging on a random obscure forum post that will never get read, and hope that they get made anyway.

Thank you for the amazing products you make, they really are a JOY to use and I look forward to using them each day. Keep up the good work.
