Maybe a project at somepoint Razer Synapse mobile app. The app could allow you to sign into the cloud and view /edit /share your profile set ups of your Razer Hardware.

I was thinking about how the modern gaming keyboard can be improved, besides the introduction of LED lighting and tenkeyless design the keyboard really hasn't changed since the IBM Model M from 1986. I have a few ideas that can help update design of the keyboard to be more modern and possibly be included on future Razer keyboards. Gamingcentric F-Keys. Get rid of the old school fucnction key layout. The function key layout of almost every keyboard these days is a holdover from the 1986 IBM design and it really doesn't belong on a 2015 gaming keyboard. Instead of the same old function keys in groups of 4 update it to a compact layout seen on mini 84 key keyboards like the Keycool 84 and Noppoo Choc Mini. I have friends who went out and looked for those keyboards because of the location of the F keys that line up directly above the number keys with no awkward empty spaces. For an WASD gamer this adds 2 easily accessible bind able keys and 4 for an ESDF user. I can't think of a good reason not to use the compact layout over the IBM 101/104 layout besides the old layout being the traditional standard layout. Replace left Windows Key with the "Razer" key This next idea is all about marketing and an software update to synapse driver. Replace the left windows key with the "Razer" key. Gamers don't like the left windows key, some keyboards even include hardware switches that disable the key completely however I think this is the wrong approach to this problem. The windows key is prime real estate and to disable it would be a total waste. I use Keytweak sometimes to rebind it to another key however this is a less than ideal situation since it disables the windows key when I'm not gaming. What I suggest is a windows key that automatically changes into a "Razer" key when games are launched and detected by synapse. What does this "Razer" key do? It can be configured to do a few things. Be a quick keyboard keymap changers that will also change the LED colors on Chroma keyboards. It can also be a virtual modifier in two ways. It can be used to simulate holding down ctrl alt and shift together which for most people would be pretty hard to do and press other buttons. The other virtual modifier method will be preconfigured by the user so that the razer key itself will become a Pseudo 4th modifier key that can be used with about 98 other keys to give the gamer more binds. For example a user can configure it so "Razer Key"+"s" can be detected by the keyboard as valid gaming input that can be translated to a user predefined input the game will understand like ALT+F12 or SHIfT+P. Smaller Adjustable Swappable space bar. The 6 inch space bar is too big considering that most gamers just quickly tap it with the side of their thumbs. It also has some prime real estate on the keyboard right smack in the middle of everything. What I would like to see is a shorter space board I can see a 3 or 4 inch space bar being workable. The space bar instead of being just one switch with a 6 inch key cap instead would actually be 4 switches that by default will be covered with a traditional 6 inch key cap however the cap can be swapped out with different key caps that will turn it into a 3-4 inch Space bar with with 2-3 standard sized buttons to the left of it. These new keys will have a prime spot on the keyboard and can easily pressed by the thumb. Also on gaming keyboards I would like to see Left alt keys that can be easier and more comfortably pressed by the thumb either because it is larger or it extends further to the right so it ends directly under the E key. Nothing ground breaking too much but features I would like to see on keyboards of the future.

First idea is terrible I wouldn't use a keyboard like that ever. 2nd idea nice but add the razer key don't get rid of the windows key. 3rd idea fantastic

Dear Mr Min-Liang Tan, These are the products I would LOVE to see in the near future, done by Razer or designed by Razer: Hardware: 1- An awesome monitor with Chroma feature.

Most of good gaming monitors on market are awfull and it's one of the most visible PC componets of any build.

2- A Chroma Headphone stand with additiona USB Ports, audio ports, or even embded razer soundcard.

That would be a killer piece of hardware, nothing like this has never been done before

3- A Mini-ITX size razer licensed PC case.

Small size, big power.

Software: 1- RazerComms on OSX and iOS

You just can't leave us behind.

2- Desktop RazerComms controlled from phone or Tablet feature.

So you don't loose any detail of what happens on your comunity chat while playing.

I think I'd be quite happy with this! Regards!

As we're closing off the year and prepping for the new one, I'd love to hear from the community what new products you'd like to see in 2015. Let me know in the comments below!

Hey Min-Liang Tan... It would be cool to see razer implement a signature system with-in our community. Instead of using other signatures we could just use one central razer signature. The signature generator would include if you were online, your name and how many posts. If you guys at razer could kindly create a signature generator that would be cool. Thanks.
