Which GPU models are used in the various Blade 15 Studio options?

Hi, I am weighing up the pros and cons of the various razer blade models. I will be using the laptop for 3d modelling / animation / simulation / compositing etc. I don't inted to use it for rendering full animations, just setting up the scenes before rendering elsewhere. Softwares will include Rhino, 3dsmax, cinema 4d, Adobe CC, Blender, Octane etc. I have noticed that on the configure product page, the RTX 2070 and 2080 have 'Max-Q' at the end, While the RTX 5000, and the RTX 2060 do not. I realise that there are a range of different GPUs under the same name with different clock speeds and wattage so I would like to know which variants are used in each option? Or if someone knows of relevant benchmark results for my applications, including RTX GPU rendering, that would be very helpful. Thanks!

It’s maxq Quadro rtx5000 on Blade 15 Studio rated by notebookcheck 80 Watt to 85 watt tdp. Usually Blade 15 use 90 watt gpu tdp, depends on synapse performance profiles it might lower apparently. I don’t have rtx or Studio Blade so can’t run the tests only have Razer core housing rtx2080 paired with gtx Blades so isn’t Apple to Apple.

Thanks for your reply! I'm ultimately trying to find a good performance comparison between the RTX 2080 Max-Q and the RTX 5000... I've seen some reviews suggesting the performance increase of the RTX 5000 over the 2080 Max-Q is negligible, if there is any. Also I've heard that the quadro 5000 uses the Nvidia game ready drivers, while RTX 2080 uses the Nvidia studio drivers... very confusing. Considering the cost of the quadro card alone, it seems like the razer blade studio is a good deal, but I would like to see some benchmarks that would warrant the price increase of the quadro.

Ah I recently saw this reviewer other video (gaming) and I was right Blade 15 use 90 watt gpu tdp he told so, idk why notebookcheck reported lower. There’s also some idk:smile_: benchmarks since this guy is Mac user probably a lot editing, maybe you know those things. On other video this reviewers compared also to MBP16. Here’s the review and benchmarks video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gzKninaOC4
