We can get ‘notified’ by email when it’s in stock. I click the email, it’s already out of stock. This is frustrating.



Why can’t we just preorder the Mouse Dock Pro? So many other stores offer this. It’s simple. You get our money. We don’t go looking elsewhere. We get a general estimate of when it might arrive. Everyone wins.



can we please retire this silly ‘notify me’ song and dance?
That would be a great option (date estimation)... but sometimes it's really hard to predict it (broken supply chains etc...).

Anyway - good idea.
I think setting expectations would help solve this problem. I've preordered from stores that present it as "Estimated to ship in two weeks," or whatever, and then offer updates via email if something changes. Clear communication can solve a lot of problems like this.
