Why does Razer battery swell?
As title suggest, why? I just spent 2.7k on a razer blade 15 advanced a few days ago, I paid a damn premium, I shouldn’t have to worry about my battery swelling in a few months or a year, I’ve used many different brands laptops and have never experienced that.
Mini rant: I even kinda regretted buying a laptop for that price, a PC would be better I know, but I chose portable, happy I did but kinda regret it, especially when I see really good PCs with 3080 GPU and a really good CPU.

+1Mostly it's swelling because of heat.
Be sure, that fans in laptop are always clean, also you can use some laptop stand (so air circulation will be better).

You could imagine the amount of heat being produced on desktop size GPUs.
The advantage of desktops is that due to its open space within the case, and with the case fans performing the air circulation, it helps to circulate the air better (preventing internal heat build up).
The laptop and its electronics are encapsulated in a tiny thin platform; where will all that heat be dissipated to?
All around the laptop; and the battery will start feel the burden of heat released from the CPU and GPU.
As per what @FiszPL advised, check that your laptop fans are clean and use a laptop stand so that it helps circulate the air better.
Look into laptop cooling pad also. With modern laptops and its powerful CPU and GPU, try avoid using it on any surface that does not help dissipate the heat (wooden desk, your lap).
When gaming, setting the fans to its max speed can also help to remove the heat from its encapsulation.
