Wolverine Pro 8K PC profile LED colour

Is the LED on the controller not suppose to match the colour of the selected profile? In Synapse 4 the selected profile colour is red but the controller LED remains white (the onboard profile and selected Synapse 4 profile is the same).

Unless I'm expecting too much from a £180 controller.
