Wolverine V3 Pro connection issue

So we need to be honest about Razers lack of customer service, build quality for a supposed pro controller with a price tag of GBP200.00.

My advice don’t buy it!

I’ve had two new V3 pros in the past two months. Both controllers have the exact same worsening issue when wired. If you move or sometimes even slightly touch the wire when wired the controller will disconnect mid game and cause serious problems. The problem now has evolved into random mid game button switches and total loss of connection.

So let’s now talk about Razers customer service…. One word disgusting!
I have an ongoing email thread of over 50 separate emails which on every reply to email is a new robotic support agent that doesn’t know what the hell is going on!
they want me to send the controllers to them for warranty fine they provided pre paid FedEx tracking label (international). So off I go two weeks ago to my local FedEx drop off point parcel in hand and to my surprise not one FedEx drop off point will accept the label as the labels are invalid for international postage! I tried 6 different drop off points and they all said the same thing!
So after explaining this to numerous support agents I finally got them to agree to another RMA and a new FedEx label that includes pick up by FedEx from my home address. I was originally told be ready and waiting Monday for FedEx…. No show….. then I was given Tuesday between 2-5pm pick up yet again no show!
I then emailed Razer again and the support agent said it’s drop off only!!! I went crazy and said you basically don’t know what you’re taking about.
so today I spent 3 hours on chat support waiting for someone to put me through to a manager eventually agent said they will call me infact promised me they would call be in very soon and guess what nothing!

Razer you are terrible disgusting and con artists!

Just bought this a few months ago. Random disconnects while using wireless.

I just wanted to follow up on this because I’ve been experiencing the exact same issue, and it has now become much worse.

At first, the controller would disconnect every few hours, but over the last few weeks the frequency has increased dramatically. I’m now getting disconnects every couple of minutes, to the point where gaming is almost impossible. It’s basically unusable in its current state.

For context, the controller is about 16 months old. It’s never been dropped, mishandled, or overused. It’s kept in its case and stored properly. Despite that, the problem started shortly after the warranty expired and has continued to get progressively worse.

The same behaviour happens on both my gaming PC and my ASUS ROG Ally, so it really seems like it’s an issue with the controller or the dongle itself rather than anything on my end.

Has anyone found a fix or had any success getting support for this? It’s frustrating to see a higher-end piece of hardware degrade this quickly.

Firmware Update?

Disconnect device use a driver cleaner?

Try different USB port? I am on USB 3 with an extension that brings the dongle to the underside of my desk.

I was able to get mine going and has been reliable for me for a while now. It may have also just got a bad Synapse update that caused my issue.

I play wireless only.

Thanks for coming back to me. I have now plugged in the USB dongle into a port that happens to be on the top right corner of my large mouse mat and it hasn’t dropped out since. It’s almost like it requires direct line of sight, for a device that is 2.4Ghz wireless. Perhaps there is a some Wi-Fi interference that is causing the issue.
