2016 Razer Blade Stealth (i7-6500U) hdmi not working

I've had this blade stealth for 2 years now and all of a sudden the hdmi port no longer works when connecting to monitor or tv. I've tried other laptops and they work fine. i changed the hdmi cord and but that didn't work either. Any suggestions?

Thanks all!

Have there been any significant updates installed into your system before this occurred? When you plug an external monitor in, does your RBS at the very least detect a new device?
No major updates at all, just the usual windows updates. The latest update I applied was when I went to:
http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect
And updated 'Intel®️ HD Graphics 520' to the latest 26.20.100.6890.

When I plug an external monitor in, my blade does not detect new device.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

This could easily be a faulty port but let's scratch out everything from the software side of things before sending this in for repairs. Are you currently on Windows 10 patch 1903? Do you at least get audio output on the TV it is connected to the laptop? Please send me a PM with the serial number of your notebook so I can look into model specific fixes.
As we speak, i did see there is an update for Win 10 patch 1903 but it has been failing to install.
My current patch is 1803.
I am not getting any audio output to the TV when connected to laptop.

Are you getting any sort of stop code when the patch fails to install? Please send me a PM with a screenshot of that along with your Application and System Event Logs from the Windows Event Viewer.
As of now, the windows patch version 1903 successfully installed on my blade. It did run the antimalware service executable right before the update, not sure if that did anything but it made it through. I tried the hdmi plug in afterward, but still same result... no monitor detection.

At this point, you'll need to send it in for repair. Let's continue this in PMs.
