Any changes made in synapse 3 won't affect my keyboard (blackwidow elite)

Hi, I've tried with many different chroma profiles that in theory(in the app they are working) should work, however nothing updates my keyboard. Some things even break while the synapse 3 app is open and I peek at the keyboard tab(for example all the caps lock numpad etc lights, though the functions itself like capslock still work) Is it a problem with my keyboard or my software?
PS: I'm very new to synapse so IDK if I did sth wrong but the lights not working shouldn't be my fault.
