Barracuda X Wireless Dongle Issues

I recently purchased the Barracuda X wireless headphones and for the first day, they were great. I put the wireless dongle into my PC's USB C port and it worked flawlessly. Come next day and suddenly my USB C port is constantly reconnecting and disconnecting the dongle, and it doesn't recognize the headphones anymore. The dongle does work when use through the USB C adapter provided in the box. My PC won't even boot when the dongle is in its USB C port, only until when you take it out will it start to work. I've tried reinstalling drivers and searching everywhere for a possible solution but to no success. The issue might be with my PC but this is the only product I own that is type C, I can't really verify if it's just the dongle or if it's my PC. Any help and/or possibles solutions would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

tl;dr - Wireless dongle keeps reconnecting then disconnecting to PC from type C port, any fix?

I'm having a very similar issue. I've been using these headphones just fine for weeks on my Android phone, Nintendo Switch and PC laptop via the USB-C dongle. Over the past week or so, the USB-C connectivity to ONLY my laptop has been increasingly more unreliable. Although Windows recognizes the device and the "Razer Barracuda X" is listed as an output/playback device, occasionally no sound was coming through including the usual "ding" from adjusting the sound slider. If I try to run a sound test in the settings, I get various messages like "failed to play test tone" or "this device is being used by another program". A simple restart of the computer seemed to be the workaround until recently. Now, a restart doesn't seem to fix the issue anymore and additionally I'm seeing the error message "The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned". I don't believe it's an issue with the dongle because I can pull the dongle out of my PC and plug it into any other device and it works just fine. But clearly there is an issue with the dongle being recognized on my PC.

Update: I'm using an ASUS laptop which uses Armory Crate to manages different components. Under System->Audio, there was a required update. That seemed to fix my issue.
I have a X570 Asus motherboard, so I installed Armory Crate to see if anything there could help. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything there that could. I suppose the dongle might've messed up my type C port somehow, so I'll continue to use the adapter. If I do find a solution I'll update this thread.
