Best way to fix keyboard and cursor issues

Hi all,

I have a Razer Blade 14” Intel 7700HQ (2017) | RZ09-01953. I have experienced a number of cursor and keyboard issues. The cursor, for example, was freezing every time the computer was going to sleep, every time I was closing the lid, etc. I kind of fixed that by changing all the settings (not the best fix.) I have also been experiencing keyboard issues: the keyboard does not light up properly.

I wonder what would be the best way to fix these issues. Reinstall drivers? Which one and how? A part of me would like to reset the machine with a clean Windows install, but of course, I would like to preserve the apps and data. What do you recommend? Thank you in advance for your time.
