BlackWidow Ultimate 2014 + Naga Trinity. Which Synapse?

Hello.

When setting up a new Windows 10 install, Synapse 3 (S3 in advance) popped up UAC asking to install. I said yes.

Then found that the keyboard wasn't being detected, so after a bit of investigation, found that it's supposedly still not supported. So I installed Synapse 2 (S2 in advance).

Then opened S2 and found that the mouse wasn't there. "Perhaps it's being kidnapped by S3, so I'll uninstall it". So I uninstalled S3.

After a reboot (I always reboot after an install or uninstall, no matter if software asks me to do it or not), the S2 was still showing only the keyboard but not the mouse, so I digged a bit more and ended here: https://support.razer.com/gaming-mice-and-mats/razer-naga-trinity/

It mostly talks about S3, but:
How do I adjust the DPI setting?
Out-of-the-box, you can make basic changes to the DPI of your Razer Naga Trinity on-the-fly via the DPI buttons located behind the scroll wheel. Once you have installed Razer Razer Synapse 2.0 or the upcoming Razer Synapse 3, you will have access to more DPI options.

So the page explicitly mentions S2, then it's supposed to work. It wasn't the case, even given that's a brand new PC from yesterday night with a clean Windows 10 disc installation. No matter which troubleshooting or "uninstall-then-install-driver" via devmgmt.msc I've done, it still doesn't show at S2.

Furthermore, if we go to S3's page: https://www.razer.com/synapse-3 we find a "BETA" tag next to the header, so I suppose that we can't be forced to beta test a product we've paid for (and not a cheap one), so it's mandatory that it needs to be S2 compatible.

So please either help me make Trinity mouse appear at S2.
Or explain me what's going on with S3 and if I've paid for a full product but gotten a beta one.
Thanks in advance.

You need to have both versions installed as BlackWidow Ultimate 2014 is for Synapse 2 and the Naga Trinity is for Synapse 3. If Naga Trinity is not detected by the compatible software, then you might have to reinstall it back. Please follow the steps below and check if it would help address the issue:

  • Uninstall Razer Synapse from your PC and delete all files in C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Razer and C:\\ProgramData\\Razer directories. These folders may be hidden by default, so please be sure to unhide them. We want to ensure that there are no residual files remaining that may corrupt your installation. This is important so please do so. Restart your computer afterward.
  • Go into device manager, go to Keyboards/Audio inputs and outputs/Mouse and other pointing devices, uninstall HID Keyboard/Mouse Drivers and all other Razer product drivers, and restart your PC. Be sure to select delete drivers as well when uninstalling. Restart your computer again.
  • Turn off all Firewall and Anti-virus software to prevent any conflicts. Download and install the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework (4.5 or higher) at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 (In some cases, you may need to uninstall the older version on your system). Restart your computer again.
  • Install the latest version of Razer Synapse that can be downloaded from http://rzr.to/synapse-3-pc-download.
First of all, bad thing having to install 2 different applications.

And second, this is a confirmation that with the Trinity I've paid for a beta.

Thank you anyway.
