Bluetooth audio stopped working on Razer Phone 1

Hi

Having issues with my RP1.. The bluetooth audio has suddenly stopped working.. It was fine in the morning and then in the evening my headphones connected fine but all i can hear is a faint clicking noise.

I paired the same headphones with my laptop and they work fine so it's not them at fault, then I also paired a different set of earbuds with the phone and they didn't work either. So it's definitely something with the phone... Anyone have this happened to them before or have any ideas how I can get my BT sound back?

(wired headphones work fine with the USB-C adapter so it's a bluetooth problem rather than an audio playback problem) .

RMA
tell them you have tried resetting to factory otherwise they wont rma it
I have factory reset it but still the Bluetooth doesn't work.
But I have had the device longer than the 1 year warranty... so how can I RMA it and if I do RMA it will they charge me a lot of money to repair it?

sorry i was not aware you had it more than a year.

Perhaps just email them and explain the situation then ask them what your options are.

No probs... yeah I've emailed them to see if they can repair it.. no reply yet.. we'll see.

The USB-C port has really started to break now as well so it's nearly impossible to charge the thing!

Not great for an 18 month old phone, would've hoped it'd at least last the length of my 24 month phone contract!

dont hold your breath with support - each email takes them a week to reply to - may have some sort of dialogue going by xmas
