Buyer Beware; To trust razer or not

Has anyone else had exploding chargers(in less than a month of their purchase of their razer) additionaly my second laptop microphone broke in about 2 week. And my laptop now seems to have issues with the aux input, insert the aux and it doesn't register right away.

If there anyone out there who found the same issues for this beautifully functioning, extremely pricy, disfunctional laptop? Not sure if I should trust razer.

Be more specific asking such things, like which Blade model. I had 14 and current on 2018 15 and stealth late 2016 and don’t have hardware problems. I stress and checked within 2 weeks first owning, usually potential issues would be recognized within that period in my experience.

I have the 2019, razer blade 15 RTX1070. I'm rolling in my grave here because it seems these omputer just keep failing me in the first month. Ya you're totally right though, the problems usually arise in the first week to 2 weeks. I'm definitely going to have to bring mine in due to this faulty aux, this laptop is way too expensive to have problems like this.

You meant rtx 2070maxq...Yes if it didn’t work straightly even you plugged it rightly that’s directly RMA to me as well. I had to reject late 2016 Blade 14 due Fans and performance issue that I noticed within 2 weeks and got 2017 replacement and it solved the issue, though for late 2016 model the bios update came later. About audio jack issue not quite sure it’s hardware or software issue but you should have it without problem if you updated all drivers correctly. Sidenote, drivers from vendors like intel and nvidia should be also updated the the newest one once it’s needed (you have issues with current or need the driver for a new feature/optimization).
As Joikansai pointed out, stress test your Razer gear the first few weeks, or 1-2 months after purchase and if unit is defective, you can claim warranty. I've gotten 1 defective Deathadder chroma and blackwidow x chroma which started having problems after 3 months and Razer gave me a new one.

@AleAlejandro I understand that things like these can be rather frustrating but let's not incite and flame. You can always use the support boards should you need assistance. Anyways, I'm locking this thread down for violating the House Rules. Feel free to send me a PM if you need any help with that AUX input issue.
