Can't get Surround Sound 7.1 to work

Hey all, very frustrating problem I've run into here. Just got my Razer Kraken TE, and downloaded/installed the Surround Sound 7.1, and it just isn't working. There's no option in my playback devices tab that says surround sound 7.1, and it just shows two options that are greyed out/unclickable and keeps telling me "setup devices in Synapse" but there's no option to set anything up in Synapse...is there something I'm missing here?

Operating system: Windows 8.1 64 bit


I've included a picture to show you what I'm talking about, that shows everything listed in the playback devices. Help would be much appreciated...

Same here, not being able to activate 7.1, theres no other options

Hi everyone! Thanks for posting your concern here. Does the issue happen while the Razer Kraken TE is connected to your computer's 3.5mm? Please keep in mind that the 7.1 Surround Sound is available for Razer Kraken X and Kraken 2019. It should still work when used to another 3.5mm headsets. However, you can't take advantage of its THX feature. Should the issue persists, please send me a PM. I'll pick it up from there.
