Chroma Connect with Asrock devices

After lots of fiddling I finally got Chroma to work with my Asrock motherboard, G.Skill RAM and an addressable RGB strip. Asrocks Polychrome software is quite buggy and took a lot of fiddling to get it to work.

So now that its all working, I have found that Chroma treats all the LEDs in my case as a single unit. There is no individual control for the addressable RGB strip or the individual LEDs in my G.Skill RAM. Nothing in the case can be controlled individually, with either color or timing. Also, only three or four presets work with the Asrock connected components. Additionally, transitions from different colors are very abrupt with the Asrock lighting. For example, when transitioning from red to green, my Razer keyboard has a nice smooth gradient that hits all the colors in between while the LEDs in my case abruptly go from red, to some shade of yellow to green.

Guess I'm just wondering if others are experiencing similar issues, if this is the norm or if my stuff still isn't working 100% the way its supposed to. Or maybe I'm missing something...

Thanks!

Do you get the same results no matter the lighting effects? Is the abrupt lighting switch apparent even with the manufacturer's software? Synapse only takes over the lighting controls and basically tells the devices how to look like. If there are any issues, it is highly likely caused by the manufacturer's integration.

No, while Polychrome is a bit buggy, all lighting transitions are smooth and as they should be. Yes, the problem exists no matter what lighting effect is used within Chroma.

That's unfortunate then. I'll look into other possible fixes. For now, please clean install Synapse and test again. Send over your Synapse logs through PM if the problem persists.
