Computer will not recognize my 2 Razer headsets

    Last night, everything was working fine, and this morning I could not get my Kraken Kitty headset to work.
    At some point, I managed to just get the audio for skype to work, and anything else acted like it was muted. I messed around with audio settings, drivers, and the volume mixer. I restarted my PC, unplugged and plugged back in the headset, and no change.

    I ended up buying a new headset, the Kraken X, which also is not working. I have not updated anything and cannot think of any changes which would be causing this. I tried plugging the Kraken X in the top mic/audio ports and the back ones. I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
