Cortex seeking advice on more advanced boosting setup

For years now I have used Cortex to boost system performance when gaming and unlike my normal tendency to dive deeper into system functionalities increasing advanced user settings knowledge, I stuck to Cortex's built in recommended auto boosting selection setup.

Even the basic answer for whether the recommended setting selection for programs to select or if I should dig deeper into what programs I select for improved booster performance? If changing the selected options is something improve my knowledge base for, is there a general type that is most likely to have a increased level of changes tend to be most frequently located? (Special, Services, Processes, System)

I just can't help but consider that as changes like Windows 11 release, increased programs running while gaming (Streaming systems or connecting to my surface for watching the stream chat feed and stream setup), and default program changes that happen over time, result in a need to change the selections in cortex to get the best performance enhancement? I also can't ignore the possibility that I am completely wrong, and Cortex recommended selection of programs is something that doesn't need any alteration and by making changes is unnecessary or even more likely to reduce performance? Razer programs have a solid history of providing a reliable and simple solution that really doesn't have a very large amount of attention needed. Another way Razer makes things streamlined so we can just get to gaming as fast as possible.

Anyone's advice or past experience would be welcomed, I want to max my performance and I am always looking to advance my knowledge base when it comes to most things, especially tech. Thanks you for your time.

Also, just to be clear my system not encountering any performance failures that require a support ticket or anything.

Allow me to tag my colleague from the Razer Cortex Team here.

Hi @Michelle-RazerCortex! Please share your thoughts on this. Thanks!
Hey there!

Thank you very much for supporting us for years. We'd especially love to hear any comments, feedback, or bugs from you.

With regard to your inquiry, Recommended Settings are enough for most users. Items, processes, and services that are not in the optimized list are for users who have a special environment. If you check them in detail and select them, you will be noticed that some programs or functions of your system will have a risk of being disabled automatically. That is why we exclude them from our Recommended Settings.

With regard to the Windows11 release, you do not need to update any settings in Razer Cortex. Our engineering team keeps the eye on all the updates of the new release. We would improve Cortex to best fit the system if the updates in Windows 11 influence our users when boosting their games.

Please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions.

@Razer.Speedcr0ss Thanks for tagging me.

Hope you have a wonderful day.
