Firstly, my DeathAdder Chroma is double-clicking and the scroll wheel button is not working.
Synapse 3.0 recognises it but its legacy, and when I use the Synapse 2.0 legacy, it doesn't recognise it either.
I saw a lot of people with the same problems and you guys never respond directly, which is frustating, I had to create my own post right now to get some real answers.
You guys tell us to update the firmware, but where it is? I can't find it no matter where I search.
Please regard for us legacy users, it becomes difficult to recommend razer when we have such awful support

Holy crap I just typed out a reply and then the website cleared what I typed.
I have the same issue, BUT, Synapse 2.0 does detect my mouse.
The only download I could find was the master guide which is here: http://drivers.razersupport.com//index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=1858&nav=0,168,462,463
Which incorrectly redirects me to: https://dl.razer.https//dl.razerzone.com/master-guides/RazerSynapse/DeathAdderChroma-00000067-en.pdfcom/master-guides/RazerSynapse/DeathAdderChroma-00000067-en.pdf
It should have done this: https://dl.razerzone.com/master-guides/RazerSynapse/DeathAdderChroma-00000067-en.pdf
There's no mention of firmware anywhere in that manual.

The double clicking is a known issue: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3674/
It would be great if Razer had some better instructions/resources.

My Razer DeathAdder Chroma is double-clicking
You can fix this by updating your device’s firmware.

Yeah, I've already saw many threads about these 2 issues, but I can't find the firmware anywhere...
So, I found this link on reddit, it solved my issues :

I ended up just replacing the switches which worked, although my middle mouse click failed literally two days ago so now I'll have to find and order those switches.
Also, I found this:
Apparently Windows 10 automagically installs the firmware.
Also, I found this:
I was contacted by one of razer representatives and told me to do a reset and the issue was resolved
I will share the reset procedure here
- Unplug your mouse from your computer
- Press the Left Mouse Button + Right Mouse Button + Scroll Wheel button at the same time for about 10 seconds
- Plug your mouse into the computer while holding step #2. Your computer will recognize a new device and will start to install the drivers if this was done correctly.

i wont buy razer mouse again i have 3 deathadder also same isseu fuck razer not solving this issue since 2013! thrash brand! only has brandname
Razer isn’t the only one with this problem.
You can fix this problem (I did) if you have a soldering iron and $5.
The Deathadder Essential is $30 CAD and is basically the same mouse but it’s compatible with the newer Synapse software.
Nowadays, all of the tech companies that make mice are going with optical or light based switches because they don’t suffer from the same issues as the physical mouse switches.
