Hi, I have DeathAdder V2 Pro for almost a year now and rubber where my thumb is pretty worn out now. How come rubber got worn out that fast ? Is there any way to replace it ?

You can find it here, 14 results for Mice Accessories (razer.com) its called Grip Tape. i owned Viper for over 2 years the rubber tape got worn out deep LoL, if u ask my why i didnt get new one, I'm just lazy for now. I'm waiting until my backup mice are worn out first then i will get a new one :D

Thanks, but that's extra grip tape on mouse, I ment original one. I don't want any extra grips to put on it.

Thanks, but that's the same thing like razer have on it's own site, just with different picture on it :D

If I only knew that grip is going to wear off that fast I would put that on top of this original one heheh but hey first razer mouse you learn that stuff on the way.

Depends on the usage, how you care about product etc.
Never had any problem with grips on my Razer mouses.

I take very good care of all my periphery. So it's not about that it's about poor rubber quality.

yeah too bad, my case, when i played intense game, mostly only my Viper and never once in over decades had issue with any razer grip tape until the viper, even so i still like it and works fine for now. fun fact i didn't realized it until i get viper mini when i started using the mini version i saw that deep hole LOL >.<

I don't even play games at all. I just work on my PC with music, doing some PS and stuff like that.

So clearly they are putting some cheap rubber on mouses.

not necessary cheap rubber grip. as u know i had multiple razer mice, i put a test on my viper, and change how my thumbs grip would hold the mice. At the beginning, I'm not getting used to it but after some practice turns out it is our faulty usage, meaning the reasons why my first Viper had that deep hole its coz i used to hold my thumbs stick into rubber grip. and keep scratching it with my nail, and my other viper is fine after i change that habbit

Well I don't have that problem like you did with scratching rubber with my nail.

For now, that's the only option that Razer offers. At least to me its well build rubber in facts one of the best - is just me that use it in the wrong way T_T

Well I was using it like all my other mouses before this one, I had few logitech ones, and non of them ever shows rubber wear off after even 4+ years. And this deathadder V2 pro after only one year of normal use is showing wear off on rubber.

I order some grips from aliexpress and stick in on the mouse, now it's even better than before :D

Omg. Thank you so much for this tip. I really love Razer Deathadder form and design, but quality of this rubber is terrible. 2 month and left side (under side buttons) was totally turned into hole. I was in few steps before buying a new one without rubber, but no BT deathadder without rubber.

    Here how it looks like

Mine was not that bad, but those dots on the rubber were getting smoother and smoother, and I was like what in the hell is going on here. I mean I got this mouse like half a year ago, and before this one I had like logitech shitty mouses and they were also getting worn out on rubber but after 4 or so years, and thats totally understandable after that period of time use. But half a year is way too soon. If I knew this would happend I would bought those rubber grips sooner.
