Hello Insiders! Choosing a mouse is often a difficult process. There are many mice aimed for certain game genres, hand sizes and grip types. It is important to choose a mouse which fits your preferences in those key areas, and which also has features which you may also find useful in everyday life; from gaming to productivity. This guide is intended to answer the common question, “Which mouse is best for me?”. To start, I recommend using Razer’s mouse fit tool, which is located on their site here. This tool will help you find the best mouse for both your hand size and grip type, which will improve comfort and accuracy while using your mouse. The page itself also provides information about both grip types and hand sizes, which I will be mentioning often throughout this thread. This guide will be split into 8 main sections: 1. Introduction 2. Productivity Lineup 3. Deathadder Family 4. Basilisk Family 5. Mamba Family 6. Orochi Family 7. Naga Family 8. Viper Family 9. Conclusion You

Evening lads and gals, Earlier today my mouse was working fine via the dongle (connected to the USB port on the charging dock), when I came back home few hours ago it wasn't working fine at all and all of a sudden it started freezing after I moved it for a certain distance (repeatedly), clicks and scrolls didn't register immediately and would have taken several attempts until they would register. I've already tried the following: Connect it directly with the USB cable - the mosue was still not working properly and it was constantly disconnecting and reconnecting, working for less than a second between each disconnection/reconnection so I couldn't reach anything on the screen. Use it via BT on my work laptop (it was already paired before the issue started) and it didn't work on the laptop via BT as well. Updated Synapse didn't help. Uninstall and reinstall Synapse didn't help. Uninstall the device from the device manager, restarted the PC for it to automatically install the device
I have a wired basilisk v3 that I’ve had for about a year or two and all of the sudden in the past few weeks it will stop working when I either:Unplug it and plug it back in Open razer synapseWhen the mouse isn’t working, the lights are completely off and, about once every second, it makes a clicking noise, the lights flick on and the cursor can move for about a tenth of a second. I’ve tried moving it to different usb ports and trying it on different computers but they all exhibit the same behavior. Sometimes if I leave it plugged in for long enough it will spontaneously start working again if synapse isn’t open, but it’s so inconsistent I haven’t found any pattern yet. Example of current undesirable behavior: https://imgur.com/62HILMT I haven’t been able to find any answers anywhere else so far so I hope someone here can help me. Thanks ahead of time for anyone that took the time to read my issue!
Mouse Sensitivity Stages Not Changing And Is Stuck On Default Sensitivity Stages And Only Change With Senitivity Button On Mouse
Hello! The mouse sensitivity stages on the synapse can’t be changed to whatever dpi I want it to be and is stuck on the default settings (stage 1: 800 stage 2:1800 etc.). They also only change when I hit my sensitivity button on mouse. How to fix so that I can change to my normal dpi settings?
I have been using the Basilisk Ultimate for more than three years and I admit that it is a very good mouse and I love using it, but since 2023 I have this problem when using it: the mouse will suddenly disconnect and after 1-2 minutes it will reconnect to my computer, or it will not connect( This is manifested by the chroma light effect on the mouse suddenly going out, and the mouse cannot control the computer's cursor ), I need to turn the mouse back on or off or reseat the 2.4G receiver, and sometimes I can see the mouse displayed in the driver in synapse, but I can't control the mouse through synapse (at this time, synapse shows that the mouse battery is 0%). This happens almost every day, I've played a lot of games, I'm sure it's not a problem caused by the game program, and even the link breaks in daily use, I'm sure it has something to do with the latest driver of the mouse or synapse3, I hope to fix this problem sooner
So im considering getting a wireless hyperspeed setup (keyboard, mouse, headset) but want to be sure i can connect them all through one dongle i don't have USB ports to connect them individually and since razer devises preform like drunken wagnerites on shoreleave i cant use that configuration. I am not 100% sold on hyperspeed but like the idea of wireless but again need all to connect to the same dongle or better yet PC bluetooth. Suggestions?
So I have just noticed this problem in the past few days and it is really annoying. Whenever I connect my mouse to my Mac, the mouse cursor just jumps a few inches to the left repeatedly, and whenever I try to move it back, I just keeps jumping. I have fully updated my Mac, replaced the batteries, restarted my computer, cleaned off the sensor, and turned my mouse off and on a few times. Despite all of these efforts, It still does not function correctly and keeps jumping to the right. If anyone has had this issue and has fixed it, how did you do so? If this is a new issue, any ideas on how to fix it?
Hi !Please help. I cannot update the firmware using firmware updater. After I run it, it asks me to insert a usb dongle, so I do. But then nothing happens, there is no error but the update stays at 0% and doesn't progress. . The mouse itself works on 2.4 and via bluetooth. Tried it on several computers (Win 11 and Win10, also tried running the updater as Administrator).
The five Razer mice with this polling update are the Razer Viper V2, the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro, the Razer Cobra Pro, the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro, and the Razer Viper V3 HyperSpeed. Owners of these mice should first update their Razer Synapse app to the latest version. They should then see a link under their supported mouse product in the Synapse app that states, “Firmware update available“. Then can click on the link to be taken to the firmware updater site, which can be downloaded so users can get the 8,000KHz polling update.Razer states in a press release that normal mice have a 1,000KHz polling rate. Downloading this firmware update will help these five Razer mouse products increase the amount of data from the mouse to the PC by 8 times. Not only did Razer add the 8K Hz polling rate to these mice but they also addressed some issues and made some other improvements to them with the firmware version 2.0 as follows for each model (improvements/fixes are in Bold Italic for each model):Ba
So I have bought the mouse from a local retail company last year. I don’t play video games often, and I don’t use my computer every day so I am very confident that my mouse is in perfect condition. 2 days ago my sister borrowed my mouse to use her Mac Mini, and everything was fine until yesterday, when my cat went into the table, biting some wires. For some reason she managed to lfip the mouse over and some of her fur went into the lazer pointer, and the mouse stopped working. The single color chorma lighting of the mouse disappeared, and I thought at first that the fur blocking the lazer sensor was the problem, so I cleaned it up with cotton buds/swab (without putting any type of liquid in it) and removed the fur of my cat out of the lazer sensor. But the mouse is still not working, nor does the single color lightning. I already tried using the mouse on my own pc, but Windows said that the USB device is not recognized (see below)To make sure it is not a problem with my laptop or my si
I have been a loyal Razer customer for ages now. My first was the Razer Black Widow N7 Edition keyboard and I loved it. Now I am rocking a Chroma RGB and could not be happier. I am also a trackball mouse enthusiast and have been using them since they existed pretty much. I would love to see Razer do a Trackball mouse with lights. I am envisioning lights around the trackball, around the two buttons and on the bottom of the mouse like the under-car led lights these days. Would be sick, thank you and god bless.
My dad gave me the Razer Viper Ultimate for my birthday and I have been using it for a while now but I never thought to use the side buttons, so when I try to use the side buttons they don't work. the only button that works is mouse button 4 on the left side. mouse buttons 5 on the left, and mouse buttons 5 & 4 on the right side are unresponsive wired, and wireless. I have also done the firmware update for the Razer Viper Ultimate and that didn’t solve the issue.
