Do Razer Mamba Elites not like even powered Adaptors

My Razer Mamba keeps disconnecting from my powered usb adaptor, but the lights stay on. It doesn't seem to disconnect when I'm playing games though. It only seems to be on desktop.

Would making the cable dangle rather than be wrapped up under my desk help? Maybe connecting it to a usb on my monitor? Also it seems to work fine directly through my laptop.

Edit: ok I was playing a game and it disconnected twice while playing the game. So ignore what I said before. I have also got the cable dangling and that still don't fix it anyway (didn't expect that to work). It actually disconnects and then reconnects a few seconds later usually. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there! Thanks for posting your Razer Mamba Elite's concern here. Ensure that the mouse is connected to your computer's USB port directly. Have you tried connecting to a different computer without a Razer Synapse installed? Does the issue happen with or without Razer Synapse installed on your PC?

I'm using my headphones through the adaptor and they work great. The mouse is through the laptop. Btw I have a lot plugged in which includes a keyboard, musical keyboard and an audio interface so that's why I use an adaptor. I would rather use the mouse with synapse anyway cause that's nice I guess. I feel comfortable with how I said so we can say this is solved, but I do find it weird how it doesn't work very well when plugged into them sorts of devices.

Thanks for the follow-up. Your point is well taken. However, to avoid any disconnection/shortage of power supply to any device, it is recommended to connect it to the main USB port from your computer. Anyhow, feel free to send me a PM or visit our self-help options should you have other questions or concerns. Consider this thread locked.
