Finally Fixed Synapse 3!

    I purchased my first Razer peripherals a few weeks ago thinking the process would be seamless. I was warned beforehand that I would run into issues using Synapse 3 but I decided not to listen and go ahead and buy them anyway (Cynosa Chroma and Deathadder Elite).

    Low and behold, I had endless issues with Synapse 3 and multiple live chats telling me the same thing - to uninstall, delete program files, disable firewall and AV etc. I was losing all hope until I just this.

    My scenario is that Synapse would install, but would not open. I monitored it in Task Manager and 'Razer Central.exe' kept appearing in the Details tab, then the status would change from "Running" to "Suspended" and then disappear from the list of processes. From this, I could determine that the issue lied with Razer Central, assuming that Synapse 3 relies on Razer Central to be able to function properly.

    My fix for this was to change the Compatibility Mode for Razer Central.exe. To do this, go to:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Razer\Razer Services\Razer Central

    Find the Razer Central.exe and Right Click > Properties > Compatibility > Chance Settings for All Users > Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for" > Select Windows 8.

    Voila! It appears to run for me with no issues. I've rebooted my PC multiple times and it opens every time without fail.
