Having issues with Kraken X.

So I just purchased my first ever Razer device, the Kraken X headset. I have connected both split ends to the computer from every possible connection, and in Realtek I have tried Line In, Mic In, headphones things to connect. Nevertheless, my computer doesn't detect the device and it is impossible to set it as my output/input device. I've downloaded the Surround sound application but it still needs me to state the output device which isn't detected.
Please help me.
