Headset problem

So I have the Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 headset, it is about a year old and my audio has been cutting out a lot and it also causes fps drops when I play games. When I unplug and re-plug the headset, it sometimes fixes it for an hour, but this problem still keeps reoccurring and I don't know how to fix it. I know that this is the headset's fault because the audio cuts out on multiple devices that I have tried it on. If anyone has a solution our could help me please respond.
