Help: Razer Blackwidow Lite Keyboard not detected

I have two Razer keyboards. The current working one is a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2016 and my spare keyboard I am trying to change over to is the Blackwidow Lite. Synapse does see and configure the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2016 keyboard. But when I plug in or swap out for the Blackwidow Lite, the Windows 10 PC does not see it. Nor does Synapse. I tried different USB ports and reboots. But to no avail. Please help.

Update: I did configure all the USB Root Hubs as suggested to change them from Power Saving modes. The keyboard still isnt detected.

BlackWidow Lite requires Synapse 3 software.
Do you connect the keyboard directly on the USB ports in motherboard and not via USB hub or USB ports in PC case (which sometimes also acts like USB hub).

Also you can try do a clean Synapse reinstall with these steps:

  • Uninstall Synapse
  • Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
  • Then restart your PC
  • After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

Hi, Thanks for the assistance. Yes, I do connect both keyboards directly to the USB ports on the back of the motherboard. I just now uninstalled both Synapse applications. Then ran that Driver remover tool you provided. Now I am ready to reboot the instal Synapse again. Should I reboot with the old keyboard or the new keyboard?
well, I did what you said. I guess. I re-installed SYnapse after removing the drivers with that driver remover tool. Then rebooted and downloaded then installed the new Synapse. Its the latest version. It see's my old Razer keyboard. But not my new Blackwidow Lite keyboard. I tried two different USB ports. Also, the BIOS does not see the new Razer Blackwidow Lite keyboard. At login I have to use the old keyboard. The new keyboard does light up. But not able to type in any password at the login screen. The keyboard lights up. So I figured its still good. I barely ever used it since I bought it new. It should be 100% fine.
Have you tried a different USB-A <->USB-mini cable, I am assuming the Stormtrooper Blackwidow Lite, like I have, is the same cable type as the Blackwidow Lite. My son had issues with his original cable and we just swapped it to a different cable.

Does that have LEDs on it as well, are they lighting up when plugged in?

Try different cable as @ControlNode said.
Also you can try it on another PC without synapse installed, and check if it'll work there.

The Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2016 will only be detected in Synapse 2.0, while the BlackWidow Lite is only available in Synapse 3.0. Please send me a ping, including your Synapse logs so I can kick-start an investigation. Save the files via any online drive, then paste the shareable link in your PM. Thanks for your cooperation.

My Blackwidow Lite keyboard is not detected by either my Windows 10 PC or my Razer 15" Laptop. Here is the Synapse log as requested.

When I reboot my PC I am unable to type into the password screen to log into windows with this keyboard. But it does light up. Both PC and laptop. I also tried another cable and different USB ports but same results. At one point, on another USB port of the Razer laptop, the device did show up in the Device Manager as "Unknown Device".
