Huntsman mini U key has not been lighting properly since purchase, however when Synapse is turned off, or temporarily after a firmware update it works and lights with the rest of the keys, then after a restart it's back to only lighting white while the rest of the keys are colored and performing effects. I've fiddled around allot with the effects styles and colors, but to no avail.
I've reinstalled the software, and updated the firmware twice now. Is there any further troubleshooting I can do, or even possibly a setting I may have missed?

Did you open the huntsman min on the Synapse and check if that key has been assigned some binding or disable on it ?
Since, you said it works without the synapse it doesnt look like an issue with the keyboard.

It means "Gaming mode" is enabled. To enable/disable, press Fn+U.
Same scenario with the letter "O" key, if it only lits up white, it means "Capslock" is enabled. To enable/disable, press Fn+O.
