Huntsman V2 Analog

Got my Huntsman V2 analog last week, everything is fine except when I turn the LED backlight to pure colour.

In pure colour backlight, the coil whine from the LED shows up, not very loud, but audible in typing range.

Anyone encountered this problem? Is it a quality issue? Thank you.

Hey I received mine 2 days ago, I did not encounter or notice anything from what you described :|
Besides that coil whine, my board also come with super scratchy backspace....

feel disappointed.....:frown_:
I have now the second copy of my Huntsman TE.
Returned the first one because of the Coil Whine and the replacement unit has the same issue.
Im now thinking, that every unit has this noise, but it can't be heard by everybody, because the pitch is so high, that only people with very sensitive hearing can perceive that noise.

A comment from Razer on this topic would be nice. Because if this is a known issue, that only certain copies have, I could keep sending the boards back until i have board without noise.
Razer support told me that it is normal for electrical device to generate noise during operation.....

I am pretty sure my Corsair K100 doesn't have it.....at least I couldn't hear it....

I think some manufacturers use better parts than others. My sharkoon pro type for example doesn't have it at all.
So I returned my second Huntsman and ordered a cooler master board, which also had the same noise but a bit quieter. Sent it back and ordered a glorious gmmk, couldnt test it already because I didn't receive the switches yet xD.
I experienced the same issue with Huntsman V2 analog. And honestly at a typing range the coil whine from the keyboard is louder than the pc itself. The PC is positioned 1 meter away from me at the desk, we have direct contact without something in between. So imagine how loud the keyboard must've been. My logitech mechanical keyboards with leds (G513 example) doesn't have coil whine at all.

However I like the red opto mechanical switches of Razer and I'm giving it another go with the huntsman elite red switches. Hopefully I don't have to send it back.
