I am so confused help please

So ive probably spent over 5 hours trying to get this razor ripshaw capture card connected from my windows 7 laptop to xbox one, but every time I try to stream it the screen is black. So I looked that up and something called hdcp could be the reason why its not working(and btw I already checked my hdmi cables they are working) so i looked up a tutorial to shut it off and was told to switch the power mode from instant on to energy saving and that should do the trick but nope the screen is still black and I probably never wouldve bought this thing if I knew it was this hard but im too deep the rabbit hole now and just want this thing set up to stream. I also have a head set and streaming mic with aux cord(for both) end if you could help me set that up too please I am begging anybody.
