Is Razer Blade Pro 17(late 2020) compatible with PCIE GEN 4 SSD?

I am going to upgrade my SSD on my blade pro 17(late 2020), 4K version with 2080 super. But I do not know whether it works fine with PCI-E gen4 SSD or just buy a gen3 SSD. I would like to go for SAMSUNG PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD 980 PRO 2TB or SAMSUNG PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD 970 plus 2TB.

I think the blade is fine with 2TB SSD per slot but is it also fine with PCIE gen4 SAMSUNG 980 PRO?

From what I know, the PCIe 4.0 is backward and forward compatible. Therefore you can use it on a PCIe 3.0 slot. Please PM me the serial number of your laptop for me to check its specs and compatibility.
