Keyboard Keeps Turning On and Off

I just bought a blackwidow keyboard and installed synapse 3 for it. The first time I installed synapse everything worked fine, but when I restarted my computer, the keyboard would turn on for a few seconds on its default LED setting, then turn off for a split second and turn on again. The issue goes away if I uninstall synapse, but sometimes when I uninstall and reinstall it, instead of turning on and off, the keyboard just won't respond to changes and won't accept loading profiles onto its onboard memory.
