Would the metallic keycaps work with the huntsman elite?
Yes. The web page for the keycaps has been updated. The metallic keycaps offered by Razer are compatible with Blackwidow keyboards and Huntsman keyboards. This has now been confirmed by multiple users and sources.
i'm pretty sure they would. the purple switches are cherry like, so any keycap that fits on a cherry switch also fits on a razer purple switch.

the huntsman wasn't out when that site was created and it hasn't been updated. the huntsmans are using the same keycaps as all other blackwidows. the metallic keycaps WILL fit on a huntsman.

Yes, Huntsman is using Cherry style keycap, so it would be compatible.

Good catch! I have relayed this information to the team.
Ahh, man. Those are seriously gorgeous, yet they're let down by the pretty abhorrent vertical separators in the middle of the R, Q, D, & A caps.
