Kiyo not saving information/allowing for changes

I purchased a Kiyo a month or two ago, and I have to disable Low Light Compensation every time I want to use webcam. Using it on discord is a pain, because every time I turn on my Kiyo, LLC enables itself and I have to use synapse to turn it off(but you have to do it a very certain way, once you close the settings window synapse greys it out and locks it). In addition, the camera sets it's resolution to 640x360 when using synapse, so you either get low fps or a tiny resolution.
Recently, I started using OBS virtual camera for this, but that comes with its own downsides. I have to constantly keep the webcam running while the software is open, and I still have to disable LLC when I want to use the camera. I have no idea if there is a way to automate this, but I have already spent way too much time and money when it would have been cheaper and quicker to buy a Logitech webcam, or just went straight to a DSLR camera and gotten much better video quality. OBS did allow me to control the resolution and frame rate, but it introduces a delay and extra steps. Overall, I was expecting much higher quality from a Razer product, and when researching these problems myself, the only thing I found were people who agreed with me. In order to achieve the advertised specs of the camera, I had to use third party software. Please fix.

I have this same exact problem and it is VERY annoying to say the least. You update the settings and it says that your settings are changed, you confirm and then try to use your camera and its in low light again! Has anyone found a fix to this annoying problem?

i have had this problem for months now, i have followed all the steps the support team has given me and nothing works, and when i disable auto exposure it makes the image very dark after i restart the camera, then i have to turn it on and off again and it fine, till the camera is turned off again, then its back to being messed up again.
I was having this problem - then I set the gain in the windows properties to 80 manually - and now I can stop and start the camera without needing to switch on auto exposure and then turn it off again to get a good picture.

OK - that didn't survive a reboot - but at least I now only have to do it once after rebooting...

Anyone have a permenant fix to this issue - it's really annoying.
didnt fix it for me, all it did was keep the gain set and not the lowlight compensation off or the exposure settings, its an odd bug for sure, not sure why they cant fix it.

Same here.
Make my face annoyingly bright for no reason. And makes th ringlight totally unusable without a lot of light around me which kinda defeats the purpose of the ringlight.

None of this has helped me, it seems to be an issue with the firmware itself. Hopefully with the new model coming out this age-old bug gets fixed.
