Kiyo zoom function (+ tilt) stopped working

Hello! I'm a traditional art streamer, been using the razer kiyo as my art cam for a few years now and I love it. Recently I updated my desk setup, which involved unplugging everything (note: this is not the first time the Kiyo has been unplugged, but the first time this problem has happened) -- when I plugged it back in, the zoom function stopped working (zooming in and out with the camera, not zoom like the software).

So far, I've updated synapse, made sure I had the correct driver installed, updated the driver for my video card, tried different USB ports, switched out cameras to my back-up camera, and so far nothing has worked.

I currently have the camera positioned really close to my angle desk where I work. My mods are worried that this could hurt my neck or my back. I replied by posting "My Neck, My Back," by Khia, but it's the Thomas the Tank Engine remix. Please for the sake of my mods, help me fix this issue

That's inconvenient. Ensure that the camera's firmware is on version 2.03_r1. Are you connecting the Razer Kiyo directly to your computer's USB port, or it's plugged into a USB hub? Also, were you able to replicate the behavior by connecting it to another computer? I would also recommend kick-starting a case through this link or sending me a PM, so I can help you communicate with the Support Team and initiate a support ticket.

It's working now, thank you so much!!

I checked your suggestions one by one; I installed synapse on my laptop and checked the camera there, and a popup asked if I wanted to keep my camera settings or use synapse. So I came back to my streaming pc to check there, Synapse prompted an update when I opened it, then it asked the same thing and that fixed it ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯ thank you again for your help, I'm so happy to be able to position my camera again.

uh-oh, I spoke too soon! So the zoom now works inside of Synapse, but when I load Streamlabs OBS and use the configure video menu from there, the zoom stops functioning. I can go back to synapse and change the camera settings there, but it reverts when I open Streamlabs.

Please check your Windows privacy settings and ensure to allow the application that will use your laptop's camera. I'll wait for your confirmation.

If feasible, please replicate this behavior by connecting the Razer Kiyo to a different computer. Try restarting your computer and check if your Steamlabs OBS has an available update. You may also reinstall the streaming software and check if it made a difference.

Hi!! Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I'm a freelance artist/streamer and I get really busy sometimes.

I tried all of the things you suggested; it's still not working.

That's sad to hear. Can you send me a PM, including your camera's serial number and the Razer Synapse 3.0 logs? Ensure to save the files via Google Drive or any online drive, then paste the link in your message. I’ll be locking this thread now to divert our conversation privately.
