Kraken X Headset Trouble

I recently purchased the Kraken X headset and when I plug it in, both my computer and Razer Synapse does not pickup the device. Meaning it doesn't show up on Synapse or my computer's playback devices.

The strange thing is; I can still hear audio through my headset, however, the microphone still doesn't work and nothing new comes up when I unplug and plug the headset in.

I have already tried the following:

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling audio drivers
  • Updating audio drivers
  • Checking if it's disabled in playback devices
  • I don't have RealTek HD Audio so I can't disable jack detection (I have NVIDIA)
  • Checking if my mic is muted
  • Trying both the regular jack and the adapter jack
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling Razer Synapse
  • Making a new Razer account
  • Checking if my computer is compatible with the headset (it is)

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
