Low fps when laptop plugged into charger.. Razer Blade 15” Advanced (2019) | RZ09-02886E92

Hello,

This is my first post in the community. Recently I noticed my laptop delivering low fps when plugged into the charger whereas, in contrast, it should be the opposite. When not plugged into the charger the fps would lock for 30fps on any video setting(ultra, high, medium,..) while playing battlefield 4. Below are the specs:

Laptop model: Razer Blade 15” Advanced (2019) | RZ09-02886E92 ( i7-8750H | RTX 2060 | 16GB RAM )

Issue: Fps drops below 30 when playing battlefield 4 on ultra, high and medium settings.

Solutions I tried:

  • Firstly, performed a clean installation of windows.
  • Updated GeForce drives to the latest version available.
  • Disabled Nvidia whisper mode and battery boost in Geforce Experience.

  • Obviously tried to put the power plan in high-performance mode.
  • In Razer synapse, I would set the performance mode to Gaming.

  • Geforce Game Ready Driver - 461.72

As for the System Firmware and the rest of the drivers, everything is updated to the latest version available. I don't use any beta versions while using Origin or any other software.

Also, Razer Cortex is enabled to apply auto-boost when starting the game. ( I don't know if this would cause any fps drop or not.. )

What could I do that I haven't done to resolve this issue?
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
