I have found the mechanical keyboard enhancement kit online and was thinking of getting this, as i share the keyboard with the partner. She does a lot of work from home, and has complained about the keys being too loud for her. Was wondering if anyone else has these, and are they any good?

What keyboard model do you have (and switches)?
Keys with o-rings will be slightly quieter - I mean only, when you'll be bottoming out the key (pushing to the bottom) - it'll dampen the keycap sound.

But if you have Green (clicky) mechanical keys - it will not change "click" sound.
I'm still new to this gamer keyboard and mouse stuff.
I'm such an idiot, i have the Steelseries Apex Pro. So they are mechanical switches.
How much quieter would it make, since your saying that it will be a just. I understand that it will take a bit to get used to the sound and feel of the whole keyboard, which i don't mind in the end, as when i play CS:GO, i wear headphones anyway. Might have to give it a go when no one is home, and see how they really sound when i do play games.

Ok, I just found that Steelseries Apex Pro is using lineal switches, so o-rings will be great for this type of switches.
How it will be quieter? Just look on this comparison video (Cherry MX Blue - clicky ones vs Cherry MX Red - silent, lineal similar to your switches on Apex Pro):
oh cool. Thakns for that. It doea make it sound more silent, but would it be worth it in the end dunno, will have toi give it a go and find out.
Dzienkuje bardzo :wink_:
