Missing effect configurator

Hi! I am trying to customize my blackwidow ultimate on Synapse 2 on Mac. My iOS and Synapse 2 are both up to date. However, the effect configurator is missing as shown in the image. I am able to configure the preset lighting effects but have no ways to customize the lighting. Please help fix -- thanks!

Note: Even if you may have uninstalled Synapse by emptying the trash, there may still be residual files from the Library folder.

1. After dragging Synapse on the Trash folder, empty the Trash.
2. Restart your Mac.
3. Open the Library folder and unhide the files you want to remove. To do this, open Utilities > open Terminal > type chflags no hidden ~Library > press Return and then go to the Library folder.

4. Look for any files or folders with the Synapse or Razer name in the library /Library/, /Library/Preferences/, and ~/Library/Application Support/ folders (also check out $sudo rm -r /Library/Application\\ Support/Razer) and then move any files or folders that you may find to the trash, and then empty the Trash to delete the files. Others may need to look in these folders for other Razer branded files with ls -la, which will show you all files and folders in your current directory, including hidden ones. $rm -r ~/Library/Application\\ Support/Razer $rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.razerzone. *

5. Restart your Mac.
6. Turn off all Firewall and Anti-virus software to prevent any conflicts. No firewall or AV software running on this machine currently.
7. Download the latest version of Synapse from the website.
8. Allow Synapse to fully update, restarting immediately when prompted.
