After running the System recovery image everything went well. It booted up and windows was installed. But when everything was finished setting up I went to my file explorer to check my drives and the 256ssd was missing and my 2tb hdd was turned into the ssd which is very strange.. all my files on the hdd were gone and the OS was installed on it.
I sent the technical agent who I’m in contact with an email concerning the issue, but this is very frustrating and heartbreaking for me at this point, even now that all my hard drive files are gone.

That is strange. By the way, have you tried checking the Disk Management of your laptop? Your files could be there on a different drive. If you don't mind, can you send me your ticket number? I can use that to review your case and better understand what happened.
