Hello all, recently ive been having this issue with my keyboard or computer in generalwere my volume will randomly go up and down and if i try to counter act it, it will just keep going in its set path, for example today i was having this issue whilst listening to music it was setting my volume down to 13% so i tried to push it further upwards and it would still try to go down to 13% even though im setting it up and my mouse nor hand is not touching the volume dial so yeah i have no idea what it is.

Hello,

Did you try to plug your keyboard on another USB port ?
If it doesn't change anything you could try to uninstal and reinstal Synapse 3.
Ello, I will attempt these changes and reply if i experience further or if nothing happens
yeah i have this keyboard and the multimedia dial is a bit dodgy. maybe its got something to do with its sensitivity.

yeah ive done this and my keyboard isnt registered in the software but my mouse is, even after restarting my pc it isnt registered in the software so yeah i have no idea but no audio problems yet
I have the exact same problem.

The volume overlay will randomly pop up and the volume will jump up/down erratically - I noticed it actually corresponds to the mouse movement (wired Viper).

Compounding this issue is the problem with the volume dial that I've been seeing more and more of in the support forums.

Adjusting the volume by turning the dial also causes the volume to jump up/down erratically as well. This seems to be a hardware issue because this behavior persists with or without Synapse, and even when plugged into another computer (fresh build without Synapse).

I discovered that turning the dial either way results in the keyboard sending BOTH volume up AND volume down signals to the operating system AT THE SAME TIME.

I've initiated an RMA and I suggest you do the same.
Usually this is a hardware failure. To check if its software related try the basics things like:

- Reinstall drivers
- Reinstall synapse
- hold FN and plug the keyboard back in
- does it happen on a diff PC?

Tried all of that and it made no difference.
I held the FN key down while reconnecting the keyboard to my PC and it acted as if it were dead - no lights, no keystrokes registered. What is that supposed to do?

You should return it to your seller after buy service (don't know how to say SAV in english sorry).
It happens sometimes that devices have some issues in the build process or during shipping ( i've seen a complete PC fall from the post counter).
