My Razer Kiyo continues to crash Razer Synapes 3.


I got my Kiyo on Christmas of 2019, and I have been having issues with it ever since. Whenever I would try and configure the video of the webcam, Razer Synapse 3 would crash right after I click on the Kiyo icon. Recently, I did fix the webcam but it happened again. I had tried to change the USB port, resetting the drivers and removing them from my device, but it always crashes again. I have been looking around online for a good bit, but could not find anyone with the same issue, and now I'm real stumped. Any help is always greatly appreciated.

Have you tried performing a clean installation of both Synapse and the device drivers yet? If you haven't, please refer to this guide. PM me if the problem persist.

I did multiple times. The time it worked again for a little amount of time, I did not even need to re-install synapse 3.

If that is the case, we may have to look into your System, Application, and Synapse logs. You can get the first two from Windows Event Viewer and collect Synapse 3 logs by using this. Upload the files on GDrive or Dropbox and send me a shareable link via PM.

I had the Logs collector running for a good few hours, but never stopped. It only ever made a file without any icon, and when opened with Notepad, it gave me a lot of weird text, symbols mostly. Does it usually take this long?

No, it shouldn't take that long, unless there are a lot of crash and dump logs it needs to go through. Send what you collected via PM so I can check if the tool generated the necessary files.
