I've narrowed it down to be a hardware issue because it only beeps in one ear when turned on, and a software reset didn't help. Its a real shame too, because I've had a similar issue with like three other wired devices, so I caved and bought a wireless headset. Maybe I only bought the lower-priced model, but I bought them so that I would have functional headphones, and I really don't care about RGB or whatever. The worst part is that these have barely outlived my previous pair of knock-off wired headphones (they were a Razer look alike), so to see that the real ones died in half a year sucks.
With the status of everything right now, I can't get any direct tech support, and my only real option might be to tear them open and try and fix them myself, thus voiding the manufacturers one year warranty. I figured I would post this here first, and if I get a response within the next few days, then I won't. In the meantime, I guess I'll use the cheap earbuds that came with my Samsung phone.

There are things like the wireless calibration tool or maybe even a firmware update that could fix this. Please PM me the serial number of your headset so I can validate the model and give you the right tools before you tear the headset apart.
