Need help ASAP with my computer build.

Hello,

I just purchased 2x 1080 TI's which I plan to run in SLI. The only problem? My motherboard. One of my 16x PCIE slots has full pins. The 2nd and 3rd PCIE slots only have half the pins (8x pins in a 16x retainer).
So my question is, can I run one 1080 TI in 16x and the other in 8x? Will it affect performance in any way? Looking for some professional help that has experience in this.

It will run without problem. There might be slight performance downgrade, if the 2nd card is in 8x pcie slot.

Any idea how big the drop will be? Percentages? Even a link to YouTube video would be great. I couldn't find much doing my own research sadly.

Far as I know, only a small percentage of frame drops. Not much of a difference, indeed.
