NEW RAZER KRAKEN TOURNAMENT EDITION THX SURROUND SOUND NOT WORKING.

I've just purchased a razer kraken TE in hopes of getting something more immersive and with surround sound instead of the generic stereo headphones however,

When I enable THX there is no surround sound, it's the same as stereo, this is very disappointing and I hope this can be resolved. Please help.

Update, now there is no sound on the when setting THX as defualt device
lets be real i like the sound and the bass but the software is not the best and is complicated for nothing, how to fix it: use the game audio device as Standard

but what the reason is why i bought the headset sadly is for THX and im pretty much strugle to enjoy it and i prob give it back if they dont do anything

Hey there! Have you updated your Razer Synapse 3.0? Does the issue happen while connecting the headset to a different USB port or computer with Razer Synapse 3.0? Feel free to send me a PM should you need additional assistance.
Same thing happens to me. Even when I activate Synapse 3, it loads a bunch of Internal AUX Jacks into my sound settings and gives me 4-5 options that never work. Upon first install i got surround sound to work on my headphones without even needing synapse, but the moment i tried to add THX Spatial is when everything went under. EDIT: these photos are before installing Synapse

Hey there! Thanks for posting your concern here. Please keep in mind that the 7.1 Surround Sound is designed to work for an analog type (3.5mm) headset. Please use the Razer Kraken TE via Razer Synapse 3.0 to utilize its THX feature. Otherwise, connect the Razer Kraken TE without the USB audio control to your computer if you'll be using it with 7.1 Surround Sound. Feel free to send me a PM should you need additional assistance.
Can you please supply a real answer? I've never been able to get THX or Game profiles to work with my Tournament V.2 that I've had since the end of 2018 - can only ever listen through 'Chat'.

Recently been having another go - went through all of this https://support.razer.com/articles/1699349771 - it's a widely reported issue and it's infuriating to only ever see non-answer deflections like the ones above.
I am also have this issue.

I recently upgraded my PC ( from Intel to AMD ) and the THX and Game controller no longer works.( no sound at all )

I can hear via the Headset Earphone Razor Controller, also in my sound settings i now have an internal AUX jack (what ever that is).

- i have removed and installed drivers ( including deleting the drivers )
- removed and reinstalled Synapse several times
- reinstalled windows 10

Please note all Windows 10 updates are installed

This is my 3 Razer headset and likely to be my last as the other 2 broke quite quickly.
....And the THX sound has disappeared again, for no bloody reason. The previous fix, sorry, fluke, does not work...

Luckily Windows sound troubleshooter reinstallation of driver worked for a change.

It should not be this much of a pain to use the headset as intended. People want stuff they can rely on - not stuff that wastes their limited time when they should be having fun in games, not fixing badly tested software - FIX YOUR SOFTWARE SOON - or when the time comes I'm swapping out to one of the many other good manufacturers.
