Razer Blade 14 Low Performance

I bought a Razer Blade 14 back in 2015 and recently the performance on the laptop has drastically reduced. Is there any diagnostic tools or any tip you would give to increase the performance. I cant even play League of Legends on the laptop without massive lag spikes.

Try download HWinfo64 and Intel xtu, while on its sensors on try play the game if HWinfo64 telling reds value means it’s thermal throttling which is cleared that performance drop. Since it’s quite old hardware I would open it and check internal parts, I usually doing that annually, cleaning the dust, and on 2 years more Mark repasting thermal paste. If you’re not familiar with repasting thermal paste I think some electronic shop will do that for like 30 bucks plus thermal paste (base here germany Arlt).

I wonder if your hard drive might be getting old, or like Joikansai suggested, if the thermal paste might need a refresh. But there are many posssible explanations.

First of all, are you plugged in? Do you have power-saving settings turned off in Synapse, and Windows, and Nvidia Control Panel? Have you updated your drivers? Check the simple stuff first.

Translator:
A fan that is added inside significantly throttles the performance. If possible, open device, remove CPU and graphics cards fan and thoroughly clean with ethanol and compressed air. Wait 30 minutes and reinstall. But before that, as the colleague above said, look if Windows or hardware energy saving are enabled. Possibly also uninstall the drivers and reinstall them.
May also be on the power supply, after some time there may be less voltage. Can you check if the power supply is still 12.16 or 18 volts (depending on the power supply)?
