Razer Blade 15 Advanced unplugged low performance

Hey there, just a quick question.
What are your fps when playing unplugged with gaming mode on and laptop set to best performance?
I have the early 2019 advanced with a 2070 max-q and I am barely reaching 40-50 fps in Overwatch 1080p on low settings. It also stutters and lags a lot so there are lots of framedrops. It is honestly unplayable... :c

Is it the same for you and is Overwatch just too much when unplugged or is my unit flawed?

I was just scouring the forums with a similar question. I understand that the RTX Max-Q models aren't designed to used with whatever power output the battery can provide and is truly only accessible when the Blade is plugged in. However, I would expect more performance out of the laptop on low settings. I've changed all of the settings on the Geforce Experience app to match battery performance but still encounter an unplayable frame-stuttering issue, as well. I wonder if there are settings we can tweak in the Windows battery performance settings and the Nvidia 3D utility... I wish there was an optimization guide or something.

Hey everyone! Thanks for posting your concern here. By the way, please check if the issue happens while your laptop is on "Battery Saving Mode". If it does, please follow the steps below and see if FPS is still low:

a. Go to GeForce Experience under "Settings" and select "Games". Uncheck "Battery Boost"

b. Go to Settings > System > Battery. Disable Battery Saver.

Should the issue persists, please send me a PM. Let's continue from there.
